I have portable studio equipment if you need to set up on site for products or food. I specialise in architecture and interiors, and can choose the best time of day to get the right light on buildings. The Great Hall at Swansea University Bay Campus was refurbished in 2016 and I was asked to photograph the interiors on the day of completion. One of the images from inside the main hall is below.
The new student accommodation at the Swansea Bay Campus was provided with automatic door closers by Geze, who needed in-situ images of a range of door closers fitted to the student rooms, hallways and main entrances. The photography took a day and resulted in over 200 high quality images of the products and some of the buildings. The shot list included showing the doors in action with people walking through them. This was achieved by using a tripod and adjusting the shutter speed to get the desired effect. An example is below.
Tobermore is a company based in Northern Ireland supplying paving and walling products across South Wales, with a number of projects in the Swansea area. Working closely with the marleting team a number of photography shoots have been commissioned to capture the range of products supplied. One such shoot in Morriston is shown below which used a wide angle tilt shift lens to capture a panorama view across the inside courtyard of a housing complex. The ability to shift the lens in the horizontal allowed the full scene to be captured in multiple shots that were then combined, avoiding the perspective distortion that would have resulted from changing the camera angle. An example of a shot from The Links, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire is also below.
