A bit about me! I'm based in both Cardiff and West Wales, being born in the city but loving the countryside and coast in Pembrokeshire. I've been lucky enough to have owned a house in Rhiwbina, where I was born and my family lived, and a smallholding in West Wales for a while - back to farming roots. I now have a cottage in Pembrokeshire, and also have a base in Cardiff. I work across the country with clients in Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Bristol, and sometimes further afield. I've worked in website design since starting as a information manager at Cardiff University in 1996, when the internet and web were just getting going. My interest in photography dates back to the days of film and real darkrooms, projectors, chemicals and the fascination of watching a print develop after dodging and burning, pushing or pulling! I have developed a wide-ranging and in-depth knowledge of design, light, composition and the needs of businesses in the digital age and try very hard to provide a valuable asset to companies. My drive and reward is to get it right for the client - that's what gives me a buzz!
Images are a hugely important aspect of any business in creating a dialogue with the customer. That first glance at a brochure, display stand or website gives a first impression to a potential customer and the images are an important part of that first meeting. Time, and money, spent producing those images is vital and shows returns for years.
